We are looking for an experienced Practice Manager who is patient-focused, has excellent communication skills, and embodies our core values to join our newly opened, privately owned urgent care center! As the Practice Manager, staying current on emerging trends in veterinary medicine is paramount. Your role encompasses maintaining a visible presence both on the floor and off, actively bolstering team dynamics, streamlining workflows, and ensuring all hospital standards of care are met. Your core responsibilities include providing indispensable support to supervisors, leads, and team members, overseeing the hospital, coordinating nursing staff requirements, and optimizing client experiences and workflow efficiency.

Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of veterinary staff, including veterinarians, technicians, and support personnel.
- Ensure high standards of patient care through effective management of clinical operations.
- Oversee scheduling, inventory management, and medical collection processes.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and veterinary protocols.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage client relations by addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with services provided.
- Assist in the training of staff on animal handling techniques, medical protocols, and customer service best practices.
- Stay informed about advancements in veterinary medicine and practice management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a veterinary practice or similar environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, handling techniques, and restraint methods.
- Familiarity with veterinary critical care practices is preferred.
- Experience in laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine is a plus.
- Ability to manage Veterinary operations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with both staff and clients.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
