What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinarian - Spring Hill, FL position at VetPro Talent?
Our bustling practice in Spring Hill, FL, is pumped to welcome a new DVM to our fantastic team!
With two full-time veterinarians—we’ve built a robust crew supported by 2 CSRs and 8 assistants/techs. Our staff-to-DVM ratio sits at about 2.5:1, with dedicated techs for each doctor, plus specialists for treatments and surgery. This tight-knit group fosters an upbeat culture where techs shine at their best. We’ve got three skilled exotic techs, opening the door for pocket pet cases if that’s your thing!
Housed across two leased spaces in a strip mall—one side for general practice, the other for repro—our setup includes a spacious treatment area with three wet tables, a surgery suite, and a separate radiology room. We’re equipped with in-house bloodwork (likely Idexx), a progesterone machine, surgical laser, and cautery, running on Cornerstone PIMs with a gradual shift toward fully paperless. Our hours? Monday/Friday 8:30 AM–6 PM, every other Wednesday 9 AM–4 PM, Tuesday/Thursday 8 AM–5 PM, and closed weekends. Appointments run 30 minutes, kicking off at 9 AM, with the last slot 30 minutes before close reserved for wellness.
Our caseload is lively—30–40 C-sections monthly, 2–4 AIs weekly, and daily surgeries—serving a trusting clientele eager to follow our treatment plans. Whether you’re early in your career or a seasoned vet, you’ll find the tools and support to practice medicine your way.
