General Purpose

To sustain our growth, we seek an accomplished Lead Home Access Technician to join our dynamic team in the Mansfield, Ohio area. While Vets Access' home office is located in Flushing, MI, the individual filling this role will be responsible for providing leadership (supervision/field work) onsite to Vets Access operations in Mansfield, OH. The Lead Home Access Technician will be primarily involved with the assembly of various Vets Access LLC and third-party products at customer sites. In addition, this individual will be called upon to perform service and repair functions for those various products after the sale and assembly. Occasionally, based on available service and assembly workload, the technician may perform other duties as assigned in other areas of the business such as evaluation, assembly, and distribution.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
· Assembly of accessibility equipment such as aluminum ramps, vehicle lifts, vertical platform lifts, grab bars and stair lifts according to company standards and methods.
· Perform service repairs and scheduled maintenance procedures on equipment which may be electronic and mechanical in nature.
· Must have the ability to interact directly with owners at private residences while performing the above functions.
· Train the end users of the equipment on the operational aspects of the equipment assembled.
· Additional responsibilities as requested or required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Must have basic understanding of building construction, mechanical, and electrical methods.
· Must be able to use a Low Voltage meter.
· Must have a verified clean driving record.
· Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
· Must be able to work on a ladder for extended time periods.
· Must be able to travel with overnight stays as needed.
· Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Programs.
· Able to maintain confidentiality.

Must be able to pass an FBI Background Check.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
