We are seeking an experienced Space Systems Senior Acquisition Specialist to support Space Systems Command Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (SSC / SZ) portfolio. The position is available in El Segundo, California.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Perform space acquisitions and technical advice and assistance for all projects and programs, as required, to support any stage of the acquisition life cycle.
- Assist with management of the portfolio by providing information, advice, and recommendations for the effective alignment of portfolio acquisitions, manpower, and funding
- Assist the Government on planning and coordinating infrastructure projects and requirements.
- Develop policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the acquisition process
- Prepare periodic status reports, coordinate and execute periodic staff meetings and technical interchange meetings, and develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive program briefings.
- Advise and assist digital engineering initiatives for acquisition, sustainment, and launch.
