Account Manager – Sales
A leading innovator in computational software and AI tools is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to join its Sales team.
As an Account Manager, you will be considered a primary contact, using your excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to work directly with startup companies and commercial business clients. This role requires a mix of technical and sales knowledge as well as a passion for cutting-edge technology. Current commercial clientele include Fortune 500 companies such as Google, Apple, Intel, AMD, and Franklin Templeton.

Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong interest in sales.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong work ethic and ability to network effectively.
Analytical and presentation skills.

Responsibilities :
Maintaining and growing sales by :
Out bounding to commercial clientele to communicate and present how technology solutions can benefit their business.
Serving as the primary contract negotiation point of contact to expand the size and magnitude of existing customer contracts.
Negotiating contracts and acting as the liaison between clients, their legal teams, and internal legal teams.
Maintaining the SugarCRM pipeline of opportunities and closing sales.
Providing accurate sales forecasting to management.
Responding to customer leads and inquiries to ensure client engagement and satisfaction.
Traveling to assigned organizations to deliver technical presentations, meet with business clients, build relationships, and set up sales-driven meetings with IT professionals, purchasers, and decision-makers to drive revenue forward.
Serving as the primary liaison for all client inquiries, ensuring top-quality relationships with timely and high-quality responses.
Additional Details :
Location : Champaign, Illinois, or remote.
Job Type : Full-time (40 hours per week) / Permanent.
Reporting to : Director of Sales & Strategic Initiatives.
