DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Network Engineer will participate is sustaining Navy network devices and appliances. Duties include but are not limited to new design, installation, testing, and sustainment. The candidate will be supporting current baselines and other engineering efforts.
- Designs, deploys, administers, and maintains enterprise networks, including servers, routers, switches, VPN appliances, firewalls, storage networks, remote access systems, and network management systems
- Monitors network connectivity and ensures high quality data transmission
- Resolves complex interoperability problems to obtain operations across all platforms
- Configures communication media with routers, switches, firewalls and other devices
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS :
Navy Networks
Cisco : CCNA, CCNP, or similar
