What are the responsibilities and job description for the Processing Operator position at Vets Hired?
This position will perform a variety of tasks necessary for preparation processing and packaging of food and nonfood products and lead processing room operations.
Working schedule : 2nd Shift / Swing 2 : 45pm11 : 15pm MondayFriday
Main aspects of the role include :
Operate food processing machinery involving setup and teardown
Direct crew activities (4 6 crew members)
Food processing room cleaning / sanitizing
Ensure process / product quality is maintained
Communicate with packaging crews coordinators and / or supervisors

Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience knowledge of production processes and familiarity with production equipment. Strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Reliable transportation is necessary as there may be a requirement to travel between locations. Candidates should also have the ability to work 12hour day and night shifts including weekends and holidays.
