About the job Regional Sales / Business Development Manager
Responsibilities and Expectations
Develop and / or manage leads resulting in $8-$10M in new business sales annually over 'national coverage' in all industry segments
Develop and maintain a diverse and balanced pipeline with at least $20M in new growth opportunity
Develop and / or manage existing customer accounts resulting in $20-$30M in business sales annually over "national coverage" in all industry segments
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at the corporate level
Full customer management responsibilities from on-boarding
Autonomous work ethic
Represent at various tradeshows & industry events, developing network and establishing as solutions provider
Represent in all facets of professionalism
Utilizing solutions, match potential organizational capability to various needs as identified by customer base
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain or other equivalent academic disciplines
Formal sales training preferred
Minimum of at least three to five years of experience in a regional sales or national sales position
Experience in the Logistics, Industrial Packaging, Transportation, or Pallet / Container industries is preferred
Experience with account management, sales management, client relations, business to business sales strongly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Creative thinking
Consultative selling techniques
Problem solving and analytical abilities
Negotiation abilities
Supply-chain knowledge
Superior computer skills and MS Office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) are a mandatory requirement
Will support Riverside / Southern California market
Although position will be remote, the candidate must be local to the Riverside / Southern California area
