As a key member of our research administration team, the Pre-Award and Post-Award Administrator will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our departments research efforts. In this position, you will collaborate closely with Principal Investigators (PIs), central university offices, and funding agencies to manage the entire lifecycle of research grantsfrom proposal preparation and submission to the administration of funded projects through closeout. Your attention to detail and commitment to compliance will ensure that our research operations run smoothly, while your contributions will directly support groundbreaking initiatives that advance our mission.

Qualifications
Required :
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
- High School Diploma
- 5 years of research administration experience.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate information in a timely, professional manner.
- Ability to set priorities and complete ongoing tasks with competing deadlines, with frequent interruptions, to meet programmatic and financial needs.
- Close attention to detail in a fast-paced, fluctuating workload environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft suite software, especially Excel.
- Strong writing skills in a variety of styles to draft persuasive text for a variety of audiences while ensuring adherence to funding sponsors guidelines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective grant funding processes, procedures and techniques
- Ability to perform complex financial analysis and customized reporting
