Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Conduct educational programs and training courses for dealers and customers (at the Center for Training & Technology, onsite locations & virtually).
Promptly react to and resolve dealer / customer questions, issues, or concerns regarding training.
Consult with sales, service, or administrative staff to answer or advise dealer / customers.
Support the service and sales department with customer / dealer visits.
Receive and process training requests.
Review completed training material orders for accuracy and detail (quantity, delivery dates, item numbers, special notes).
Stay informed on training schedules, machine availability, guest instructor needs, onsite training planning / scheduling, and self-development.
Create reports and help develop ideas to continue improving dealer / customer learning needs and experiences.
Assist with other training tasks when the need arises.
Essential Skills and Knowledge :
Demonstrated experience as a technical trainer in formal and / or informal settings.
Knowledge of modern training techniques.
Experience in designing technical course content.
Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to groups.
Proven field service experience in the heavy equipment industry (automotive, heavy equipment, construction, agriculture, etc.).
Associate’s degree (A.S., A.A.S., or A.A.B.) or a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training experience.
Maintains a consistent team approach.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) and ability to learn other software.
Certification such as CTT (Certified Technical Trainer) is a plus.
