About the Role
We seek a Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive innovation in AI, ML, and data-driven solutions. Develop, deploy, and maintain machine learning models as part of a scalable and reliable infrastructure.
Build and optimize highly available microservices for running AI / ML inferences ranging from simple to complex workloads.
Participate in design reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making, ensuring robust system performance.
Attend daily stand-ups and work in an Agile environment, ensuring timely feature development and delivery.
Quickly prototype and experiment with AI-driven solutions, testing their feasibility and scalability.
Design and develop API-driven integrations to support data flow and ML model deployment.
Build and maintain data infrastructure and architecture, enabling optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources.
Configure, integrate and support cloud-based AI solutions in AWS or similar environments.
Work effectively in source control environments (Git) and containerized workflows using Docker and Kubernetes.
Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot ML models to maintain high accuracy and reliability.
Present key findings, results, and insights to decision-makers, customers, and stakeholders.
Document processes, models, and best practices to ensure consistency and repeatability in AI / ML initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience working on AI / ML projects, including data engineering, software development, and system integration.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
Proficiency in programming with Python, Go, or Java and experience applying strong ML and deep learning fundamentals.
Strong computer science background, including algorithm design, complexity analysis, and performance optimization.
Hands-on experience with graph algorithms, LLMs, optimization techniques, and diverse data formats.
Experience working with relational databases, data architecture, and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Proficiency in containerization, CI / CD, and DevOps workflows, using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment while maintaining a high level of collaboration and communication.
US Citizen with an Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and AI-driven optimization techniques.
Hands-on experience in API development using FastAPI or Flask.
Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
Experience in Agile methodologies, including Scrum, DevOps, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Prior work in cybersecurity, defense, or intelligence-related AI applications.
