Position Overview:
The Pharmacy Customer Service Representative engages with customers, offering standard information regarding products and services in response to routine inquiries. They support the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians by assisting with prescription dispensing, inventory management, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greeting and interacting with clients in a friendly, professional, efficient manner
- Maintain records of interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken
- Receiving and managing incoming and outgoing communications, referring information to the pharmacist when necessary
- Responsible for cash management including accepting payments for services and for end-of-day closing activities and reporting
- Accept prescriptions for filling, gathering and processing necessary information
- Relaying basic medical information to clients as directed by a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Tech
- Receive, store, and inventory administrative supplies
- Following pharmacy safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Intermediate computer proficiency
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time and walk intermittently
- Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation
Education and Experience:
- We believe that skills and experience are what truly matter. While education can be a valuable asset, it is not a requirement for success in this role.
- Previous relevant experience, preferred.
