Veterinary Receptionist
White Oak Veterinary Hospital is seeking a receptionist that wants to grow with a full-service hospital. At White Oak we are committed to offering our valued clients personalized customer service, comprehensive medical care and advanced technology.
Hospital Hours
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
8:00 am – 5:30pm
Weekends & Wednesday : CLOSED
Primary responsibilities and skills desired include:
- Greeting and interacting with clients in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
- Receiving and managing incoming calls on a multi-line phone system
- Accommodating client needs with a culture of saying yes
- Scheduling patients for appointments in accordance with hospital scheduling guidelines
- Obtaining medical and other information from referring veterinarians when needed
- Receiving deposits and payments and explaining payment options to clients
- Balancing the cash drawer/keeping the daily report up to date
- Entering client communication into Ezy-Vet
- Communicating efficiently with a staff member to organize case flow
- Cleaning duties of the lobby, reception area, restroom, and parking lot
