Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor assigned areas to identify and prevent signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms and calls for assistance.
• Enforce security regulations and policies to ensure a safe environment for all.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and security systems.
• Prepare detailed and accurate reports on daily activities and any incidents or irregularities.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, visitors, and employees at all times.
• Remain calm, composed, and decisive during emergency situations or critical incidents.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Level 3 Armed Security Officer Guard Card.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Availability for 1st shift hours.
• Proven reliability and punctuality.
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Excellent observational abilities with a keen attention to detail.

VSA specializes in providing security for government agencies and other public sector facilities. As a major employer of former law enforcement and military personnel, many of our security officers are already experts in protecting this nation and its critical infrastructure. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
