A large health system is seeking a Medical Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.
From Wilmingtons vibrant riverfront and scenic Riverwalk that winds around the storied Cape Fear River to three colorful island beaches, theres something for everyone.
The clinician will see 2 new and 15 established medical oncology patients in a clinical setting after a 2-week ramp-up. The clinician will have oversite of assigned patients receiving infusion; inpatient consults (when on call) with assistance of two (2) inpatient APPs note hospitalist admit Oncology patients; participation in assigned site specialization (will try to meet candidates preference) tumor board, and multi-disciplinary clinic. The clinician will attend required medical oncology provider meetings.
