A FQHC is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
As much as you've heard about New York City there are still constantly changing things to do. Everywhere you look, you can find little coffee shops to stop in or bars to have a drink at after work! Take some time at Central Park to take in the sites while on assignment. There are tours for everything in the city so be sure to research what you want to do before heading to the city that never sleeps.
Credentialing takes approximately two weeks. The schedule is MondayFriday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour unpaid lunch. The position is open to MDs and NPs but not PAs. There is no call requirement. The provider will see an average of 10 pediatric patients per day (ages 021). Board certification and Medicaid enrollment are required. The role is supported by nursing staff, but the provider will work solo. The EMR system is currently AccuMed but will transition to AdvanceMD by March. Preferred (but not required) experience includes foster care, reproductive health, and mental health.
