A Short Term Acute Care Hospital is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in New Jersey, situated approximately 60 miles northwest of New York City.
The Psychiatrist will be working on a 16 bed unit treating adult patients. The patients are split with another psychiatric provider. The psychiatrist will need to perform consults as needed on the medical floors and ER. Call coverage is optional.
Dates Needed : January - Ongoing
Call Ratio / Schedule : 1 : 4 weekends
Case Load / PPD : 6-8 plus consults as needed in ER and Medical floors
Shift Type : Day Shift

Assignment Duration : Locums
Shift Hours : Full time (40 hours)
Cases Treated : schizophrenia, bi-polar, psychotic, etc
Average Length of Stay (IP) : 5-8 days depending on acuteness
