We are looking for a Laundry and Housekeeping teammate to support the functions of our facility and the needs of our residents.As a Laundry and Housekeeping team member you will be cleaning, pressing and folding laundry as needed. They may also be responsible for the maintenance of laundry equipment and other duties around the facility.
Ultimately, you will play a crucial role in the presentation of the establishment by ensuring all textiles are well cared for and maintained.
This is a full-time position with the availability to work every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Communicates effectively with residents, team members and visitors.
- Maintain resident rooms by cleaning restroom, walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, dusting, washing windows, removing trash, etc.
- Folding, stacking and hanging personal clothing and linens.
- Restock and maintain a clear stockroom and housekeeping cart.
- Move furniture in order to dry and wet mop floors; use wet floor signs to mark wet floors.
- Empty trash/waste into proper containers.
- Keeps utility, storage areas and equipment neat and clean.
- Returns resident personal clothing and linens to appropriate area.
Housekeeping and Laundry experience preferred.
