ABOUT THE POSITION

Responsibilities
- Work within a team of professionals to assist in the development of civil engineering plans and specifications for Energy and Land Development projects.
- Perform field work either alone or in pairs to collect data, record measurements and site photos/videos.
- Draft plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Assist in the preparation of land entitlement and permitting documents.
- Develop reports presenting design calculations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Team oriented with capability to work independently.
- Ability to perform engineering tasks in coordination with the project team on integrating the design and developing deliverables.
- Strong computer skills with experience or exposure to AutoCAD Civil3D preferred.
- Experience or exposure working with PondPack, HydroCAD, StormCAD, AutoCAD S&S Analysis or similar stormwater design software
- Self-motivated, ability to think critically and attention to detail.
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related degree
- 0-1 years of land development /civil engineering internship/co-op experience
- 1-3 years of land development / civil engineering experience preferred
- Prior land development design experience (erosion control, stormwater management and site grading) preferred
- EIT preferred
