Overview : ABOUT THE POSITION
VHB's New Jersey Site Investigation & Remediation practice has a need for an Environmental Engineer, Geologist or Environmental Scientist to join our growing Site Investigation & Remediation practice. The professional will help develop and manage effective site investigation, remediation and due diligence investigative programs. The professional should be comfortable working in the office and field and have an understanding of and experience with the New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) program including NJDEP Rules and Guidance, NYSDEC a plus. Response activities may include mentoring junior team members and direct Client communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop, perform, and / or manage preliminary assessment / Phase I and effective site investigation and remediation field programs
- Provide hands-on support during field exploration and testing; travel to jobsites throughout NJ and NY.
- Interpret and communicate investigation findings
- Leverage technology to support data management and visualization
- Write technical and regulatory reports, correspondence, notes, and memoranda
- Mentors and may supervise junior team members
