Responsibilities
- Review contract documents with the ability to identify contractual risk issues and propose appropriate risk management solutions in accordance with company policies
- Identify, understand, and interpret contractual insurance and indemnification requirements
- Administer and maintain library of standard clauses for amending contracts
- Assist in drafting/amending contracts
- Research legal issues
- Communicate efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Works effectively and independently in high-pressure team environment to manage multiple tasks in parallel to meet all deadlines
- Commitment to documentation and using technology to improve processes
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to think critically and problem solve
- Bachelor’s degree in business/legal studies or similar
- Paralegal Certification
- 5 years of experience as contract administrator or paralegal (preferably in an Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction environment)
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
