VHBs Albany, NY office is looking for a Transportation / Traffic Engineer to join our Transportation team. The selected candidate will work with a dynamic team of transportation planners and engineers on a variety of public, private, and institutional projects with exposure to a wide variety of projects in size and scope. Our team uses its skills and experience to improve our communities with a sustainable, context-driven and integrated project delivery approach. Responsibilities
- Working within a team of professionals in a variety of transportation planning and traffic engineering projects working to develop mobility solutions for all users
- Conduct multi-modal related transportation analyses
- Conduct safety assessments
- Perform field observations and site visits
- Prepare transportation impact, corridor, and intersection evaluations using a variety of tools
- Design of traffic control devices

Our best estimate of the salary range for this position located in Albany, NY is $69,000-$76,000. The final compensation will be based on a variety of factors such as individual qualifications, education, and experience.
