Behavioral Health Specialist

Job Summary : Completes assessments / evaluations, develops, and implements treatment goals, facilitates referrals / resources both internally within the Valley Health Partners Community Health Center (VHP) continuum and throughout the community and provides therapeutic interventions to address patient's mental health needs.
Minimum Qualifications : Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or clinical discipline, such as Psychology. Two years of experience in counseling or social work or a related field in a clinical setting.
Preferred Qualifications : More than three years of experience in counseling or social work or a related field in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), preferred.
Licensure : Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Upon Hire or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Upon Hire, required.
Certifications : CPR / BLS, required
