Job Title: Urology Psychologist
Summary: The Urology Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services to patients of the Urology Clinic at Children's Hospital of Michigan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and/or tests for diagnostic purposes, intervention, and referral.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for each child.
- Educate family members on developmentally normative responses to medical conditions and treatment.
- Collaborate with other child health experts to facilitate and ensure the psychological development of a child.
- Screen and assess for substance use, misuse, and addiction, and provide appropriate intervention and referral.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree from an APA- or CPA-accredited program.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and children and families in medical settings.
Work Environment:
Children's Hospital of Michigan, outpatient Urology Clinics, including differences/disorders of sex development (DSD), voiding dysfunction, and stone clinics.
