Description
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Master's Preferred)
• 4 years experience in general accounting
• Experience with available ledger systems
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
A DAY IN THE LIFE
• Prepare accurate, timely financial statements by our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department.
• Conduct periodic and annual account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the management's attention.
• Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with the annual external financial statement audit.
• Conduct regular ledger maintenance.
• Perform basic treasury functions.
• Manage receivables from restaurant house accounts and third-party delivery systems.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by upper management.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
