As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their medications in a timely and safe manner.
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Driver. The Pharmacy Driver will be responsible for transporting medications and healthcare products between our pharmacy and various customer locations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Safely transport medications and healthcare products to and from customer locations in a timely manner.
Verify accuracy of deliveries by comparing delivery contents with delivery manifest.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle.
Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while operating delivery vehicle.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including friendly interactions with customers and timely delivery of medications.
Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or other relevant information.
Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicle as needed.
Report any vehicle maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or GED;
One (1) year transportation experience required;
Knowledge of local, state and federal Transit Administration, US Department of Transportation, Federal Drug and Alcohol, state driver hours of service;
Demonstrates customer services orientation as well as oral and written communication skills;
Experience with diverse work forces and customer populations;
Safe driving practices and procedures;
Ability to read and interpret road signs in English; Bilingual, English/Spanish is preferred;
Ability to be a team player; support and assist team members.
