We're looking for a
Principal Product Designer
to lead research and design on a 0-1 project, while leveraging the strengths of our existing best-in-class Remix Planning and Scheduling products. You will drive the product experience from inception through execution, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional team members to shape a solution that helps transit agencies deliver reliable and efficient service to their communities. We succeed when the city officials we work with use Via to have a greater impact for the public good.
What You'll Do :
Influence the shape of the product with research and data while executing design work using high quality wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and cross-platform interactive prototypes.Partner with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to define goals and process.Create artifacts that help us shape our vision and roadmap.Facilitate design thinking sessions with your team.Advocate for design by sharing your work and presenting cross-functionally, while being able to precisely articulate design rationale.Who You Are :
Minimum of 7 years as a product designer, designing a SaaS, enterprise or B2B product.Skilled at using design to capture ideas, inspire a vision, or ground a conversation.Have a track record of running research to understand users and advocate for their needs.Love taking complex ideas and making them easy to understand.Bring a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset to getting things done.While it's not required, it's an added plus if you have experience designing for technical enterprise software.Compensation and Benefits :
Final salary will be determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, and skills.
