What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Assistants For Corporate Catering position at Via Lago Restaurant & Catering?
Via Lago Restaurant & Catering in Lexington, MA is looking for catering assistants for our corporate catering division to join our team. We are located on 1845 Massachusetts Ave. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable. Shifts will vary slightly, but need availability between the hours of 4am-4pm. These will be 8-9 hour shifts, but overtime is also available. Saturday Availability is a plus.
The rate per hour shown includes gratuities. Gratuities average another $7-10 per hour in addition to the hourly rate.
Responsibilities
- Delivering Catering Orders
- Making Sandwiches
- Cooking Bread/Dinner Rolls
- Making Dessert Platters
- Bottling Salad Dressing
- Making Fruit Platters
- Making Stationary Appetizers
- Keeping your Station and the Production Room/Set-up Room Clean (And Food Items Labeled and Dated)
- Bring Food Upstairs to the Expediting Area
- Making Set-up Bags
- As Well as Other Various Tasks
- ***Previous Catering Experience a Plus***
- ***Previous Catering Office Experience a plus- As we would like to expand our office help***
Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License
- Able to carry 25-50 Pounds
- Able to Walk Up Stairs
- Must be a Team Player and be able to work within a team
- Must have a good attitude
- Can work efficiently and within the time frames given
