GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The Business Intelligence Analyst - Human Resources is critical in leveraging data and analytics to support informed decision-making within the HR function. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data to provide actionable insights aligned with the organization’s strategies, goals, and objectives. The analyst will ensure data integrity and compliance while driving efficiency and innovation in human resources processes and reporting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Design and generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform HR strategies and initiatives.
Develop statistical models and forecasting tools to support predictive analytics and workforce planning.
Create accessible and actionable visualizations using BI tools to communicate complex data effectively.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data into narratives that support HR decisions.
Maintain and optimize the HRIS, including data entry, updates, and troubleshooting.
Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with policies and regulations.
Lead data validation and quality assurance efforts across HR datasets.
Support HR projects, including talent management, benefits, and employee engagement, by providing relevant data-driven insights.
Identify opportunities to improve data management processes and reporting efficiency.
Work cross-functionally with HR leaders and other departments to gather requirements and deliver impactful analytics solutions.
Train HR team members on HRIS functionalities and reporting tools, ensuring self-service analytics adoption.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to acquire and integrate data from multiple sources.
Develop methodologies for data collection, analysis, and visualization to support organizational objectives.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Computer Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field, and five (5) years of data analytics, business intelligence, or related experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of education on a year-for-year basis up to four years.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in a related field

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI.
Must have ability to read complex materials such as reports, instructions and support documents.
Must be able to maintain good work attendance.
Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to make recommendations based on data insights.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively.
