We are hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide early intervention services in Northampton and Lehigh Counties. The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide services to children from birth to three years of age.
The pay range for this position is between $40-$45/hour.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist you will:
- Provide specific interventions and therapeutic strategies to increase developmental skills, including communication and oral-motor feeding skills of children who have been identified with developmental delays.
- Evaluate the developmental skills of infants and toddlers and provide written reports.
- Work with families and caregivers to identify priorities for their child and the family.
- Develop intervention plans based on family priorities.
- Utilize therapeutic strategies to address developmental delays of identified children.
- Train, and support family/caregivers to attain outcomes established in intervention plans.
- Document daily activities of children and report on progress.
- Prepare materials for use with children/families.
- Maintain communication with the Early Intervention Director and all team members.
- Maintain positive communication with funders, other providers, and the public.
Position Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
- PA Speech Therapy License is required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competency is required (CCC’s).
- Minimum one year of experience working with preschool children with disabilities and their families.
- Knowledge of typical infant/toddler development, developmental disabilities.
- Experience with sensory development, adaptive equipment, and strategies.
- Ability to interact positively and work with the team.
- Must have valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and appropriate vehicle insurance.
- Traveling within the community is required.
- Must have flexibility with schedule.
- Proficiency in Microsoft word and excel as well as ability to utilize agency databases.
- Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess the ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple tasks, with flexibility to meet changing needs and priorities as they occur.
- Work in an office environment, within the community, and in community homes.
- Standing, sitting, lifting, and walking required daily.
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to a variety of environments.
