OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
KTVT is looking for a Multi-Skilled Content Producer / Editor to join the team! This is a hybrid role that includes multi-platform content creation and working as an assignment desk editor. The ideal candidate will have excellent news judgment and ability to produce & edit engaging content on multiple platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
- Write content for on-air / online / social media platforms.
- Edit compelling, impactful packages for broadcast / digital using non-linear systems such as Grass Valley Edius and Adobe Premiere.
- While working on the assignment desk, this candidate will pursue pertinent breaking news.
- Communicate with multiple news crews.
- Monitor news scanners and social media sites.
