Who we're looking for
What you'll be doing:
This position will be responsible for assisting our customers with inquiries of our conveyor belt products and field services, price estimates, sales orders and performing customer service functions. Our Sales Coordinator must have strong communication and problem-solving skills, positive mindset, and a collaborative approach.
Essential functions of our Insides Sales/Customer Service Representative include but are not limited to the following:
- Enter sales orders into the system using information from the customer's purchase order.
- Coordinate with outside sales and Operations in preparing pricing quotes and sales orders for customers as required.
- Work with other internal departments; production, purchasing, quality, order entry, credit, and outside sales to meet the customer's requirements.
- Recommend improvements in products, packaging, shipping, service, or billing methods and procedures to prevent future problems.
- Help with billing and ASN's
- Monitors inventory levels and communicates to office staff.
- Effectively communicates and responds to diverse customer environments and needs. Handles customer complaints and problems promptly and to the customer and company's satisfaction.
- Perform various customer specific procedures that may include obtaining and reviewing additional instructions for invoicing, ordering, online accounts, and several other functions in order to comply with requirements.
- Conducts all business transactions and customer relationships in a highly ethical manner. Works closely with accounting to ensure timely collections.
- Coordinate with purchasing and vendors as needed for pricing and lead times on buy out items.
- Perform all customer service branch activities as needed and perform other related duties as assigned.
Extra consideration will be given to candidates with previous industrial sales experience.
Skills and Experience requirements:
- Working knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
- 1 year of experience in inside sales and/or customer service in a industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong communication skills
