A UX Designer at Viagio will:

Be responsible for understanding the vision and goals of Viagio’s clients to communicate design specifications to clients, engineering teams, and any/all other stakeholders. The User Experience Designer facilitates design sessions to help define vision, user stories, functional requirements, wireframes, hi-fidelity mockups, and visual prototypes.

Day in the life / Responsibilities:

• Facilitate design sessions for new custom applications and implement user-centered design best practices
• Present and communicate complex design project decisions to clients and development teams
• Determine illustration style, color palettes, typography, screen layout, and user interface
• Lead analysis of solution needs and define scope requirements to ensure it meets market needs, including best practice workflows, scope of capabilities and visual design
• Develop plans and materials to ensure solution goals and strategies are user-centered and align with current solution capabilities and client roadmaps
• Drive solution vision through client interaction, market and user research, end user shadowing/interviews, and feedback channels

• User research and user empathy
• Wire-framing and prototyping
• Have an eye for detail with excellent written and verbal communication
• Document business and/or functional requirements and facilitate review meetings
• Ability to quickly accumulate knowledge and solve problems across multiple solution areas

Nice to Haves:

• Mobile design experience (iOS, Android, reactnative, ionic, xamarin)
• UX writing
• Analytics (Firebase, Google analytics, Fullstory, etc.)
• Basic coding knowledge (mobile or web) to facilitate in developer collaboration
• Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Experience with data visualization
