The Commercial Director - Design & Development will be responsible for driving sales growth of Viant's D&D services. This role involves refining the value proposition, segmenting the market, and developing and executing a sales & marketing plan. This role also inculdes identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the market and the technical aspects of D&D in medical devices, strategic planning skills, excellent communication & collaboration skills, and a proven track record in sales and marketing.

Strategic Planning and Execution :
- Align with Design & Development leaders and the commercial leadership team to refine the value proposition, segment the market, and develop a strategy for growing revenue.
- Collaborate with D&D leaders and commercial team members to develop and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan.
- Analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
- Work with D&D leaders to expand Viant's D&D capabilities through organic and inorganic development in new disciplines

Qualifications : Education :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Operations Management. An MBA is a plus
Experience :
Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development and account management. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-value client relationships. Demonstrated existing relationships with medical device OEMs.

We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $180K-$210k plus commission. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
