Viant Medical, LLC seeks a full-time Manufacturing Engineer II based in Collegeville, PA.

This position is responsible for evaluating, selecting and applying standard engineering practices, techniques and procedures while using sound judgment when making adaptions and / or modifications to machinery, test and measurement equipment and / or systems.
Req : Master’s degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field and 3 years of related experience.
Employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience.
Must also have 36 months of exp with : (1) developing tooling, fixtures, and equipment used in manufacturing to optimize productivity, maintainability, and cost; (2) planning process flow, evaluating process capability, reviewing scrap trends and assisting in implementation of process improvements; (3) drafting qualification documentation such as Site Acceptance test (SAT), Installation qualification (IQ), Operational qualification (OQ), and Performance qualification (PQ) protocols for equipment’s and processes within facility; (4) collaborating with quality and operations to develop and implement process controls and inspection procedures using process failure mode effects analysis (PFMEA) and other risk management methodologies; and (5) utilizing process development, metallurgical testing, cold drawing, heat treating, non-destructive testing, and failure analysis of metal tubes.
Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program.
Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.
