The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for production planning, capacity planning and inventory control of the inventory items. The position reports to the Supply Chain Manager. Candidate must have experience in planning, also creates a reliable production plan to meet customer expectations while optimizing inventory and capacity.
Shift Available: 1st (Hours: 8:00AM - 4:30PM)
Main Responsibilities:
Develop a production plan and finite production schedule based on the Master Schedule - all the key work centers with different time frames, ensuring maximum capacity utilization.
Analyze and confirm the schedule ship-date for the new customer orders based on material and capacity availability
Control the production attainment on a weekly basis
Provide feedback to operations as to the status of “production critical” issues, recommend alternatives and solutions to inventory control problems, and recommend new methodologies or efficiencies to support profitability (process improvement)
Coordinate and determine sub-assemblies, track jobs to provide release dates of finished goods and provide accurate information for customer service
Identify root causes when the customer order is missed and provide the information to Customer Service
Review the firm planned orders in support of an on-time production schedule, release work orders at the right time and quantity, and send them to the manufacturing area
Create intercompany orders respecting lead time and MOQs, and negotiate with sister sites to get material as required
Provide reports and report analysis of production, including weekly tracking reports, weekly analysis, breakdown of orders, and inventory reports
Work closely with purchasing to analyze inventory levels and product demand to ensure product availability
Work with assigned work center supervisors/ Leads/ Managers analyzing the root causes for production attainment deviations, material shortages, and opportunities for improvements
Review inventory status, making sure the weekly, monthly and yearly targets are met
Follow all reporting and documentation as required by established policies, practices and procedures
Requirements:
Knowledge/Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent
Job Experience:
2-5 years of planning experience in manufacturing
Experience using ERP and Advanced Planning Systems.
Understanding of supply chain planning processes, MPS/MRP/CRP,
Skills/Competencies:
Experience in Medical/Pharma, a plus
Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel competence
Rapid Response experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Working on the production floor of either sitting, walking and standing

We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $80K-$90K. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
