Behavior Support Specialist
A Great Opportunity / $21 per hour / Full Time
The Behavior Support Specialist will work with individuals who have behavioral challenges and provide support to help them achieve their goals. The specialist will work with a team of professionals to develop and implement behavior support plans, provide training to staff and caregivers, and monitor progress.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments
- Develop and implement behavior support plans
- Provide training to staff and caregivers on behavior management strategies
- Monitor progress and make adjustments to behavior support plans as needed
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and social workers, to provide comprehensive support
- Document and maintain accurate records of services provided
- Attend meetings and provide updates on progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
