Key responsibilities for this role include :
Safely transport company executives and other personnel to and from designated locations.
Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding the company's activities and personnel.
Ensure the safety and security of passengers and their belongings.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Plan and manage efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
Assist with loading and unloading of luggage, packages, and other items as required.
Provide excellent customer service and always maintain a professional demeanor and attire.
Must be available at all times during regular working hours (8am - 6pm).
Remain on-call and available before and after regular working hours when executives are staying in the NYC and surrounding areas. Hours must always remain flexible.
Expect to complete extra tasks such as book reservations, run errands, deliver supplies, etc.
Always maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
Monitor vehicle maintenance and schedule regular servicing and repairs and manage the necessary rentals accordingly.
Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance and any incidents or accidents.
The minimum qualifications for this role are :
High school diploma / GED / Higher secondary or equivalent required.
3 to 5 years of executive, professional driving.
Chauffeur's license or a New York State class A, B, C or E driver's license required.
Having no more than 6 points on your DMV license within 15 months of your most recent violation.
Having no outstanding tickets, parking violations, or fines or fees owed to DMV or TLC (Taxi and Limousine Commission).
Passing a background, drug, and DMV record check.
Having extensive knowledge of NYC (including the surrounding areas) roads, major airports, and highways.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $39,000 - $88,000.
