Job Description
This travel nurse position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) environment, caring for critically ill patients with diverse medical needs. As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and staying up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatments
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in critical care nursing
Requirements
- Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required
- Previous acute care experience strongly preferred
- Ability to project a professional image and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions
