Lead Buyer - Logistics Americas
Responsibilities
- Service provider on-boarding (preparation of all commercial requirements like NDA).
- Frame Contracts for strategic service providers.
- Evaluate 3/4PL agreement.
- Evaluate and interface wrt. TMS, Integration, Lanes.
- International Transport.
- In house transportation (Ryder).
- Warehouse Services and Internal Support Purchasing.
- Racks, Fork trucks, shipping/receiving equipment.
- Material handling and movement; AGV’s, carts, lifts, WIP containers, Inventory equipment, etc.
- Expendable and returnable materials/services
- Regional logistics reporting as part of the global logistics reporting
- Regional sourcing for logistics related IT innovations
- Analyze current condition and search for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support Estimating and operations with logistics information & calculation parameters.
- Economical or technical study – Logistics or equivalent years of experience in Logistics and Transport.
- Purchasing /Contract Management/ Logistics / Transport 3 years, experience from transport company.
- Cost calculation, Freight rates, SAP, IT, TMS interface.
