What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Vibram Group?
Vibram’s Human Resources team is growing, and we are looking for a highly motivated HR Generalist with a strong Talent Acquisition background. This individual is passionate about the Human Resources function overall and what makes an organization stand out from the crowd.
You will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and work closely with hiring managers across multiple functions. This is an individual contributor role based out of our North Brookfield, MA location with the flexibility to work from home one day per week.
Responsibilities
- Develop recruitment strategies by proactively sourcing, interviewing and placing candidates while partnering with and advising hiring managers.
- Own the candidate experience by developing and overseeing a robust onboarding program in alignment with global strategy.
- Grows an effective talent pipeline by working with local high schools and universities to establish/maintain internship and apprenticeship programs.
- Provide support to employees and department heads on various HR-related topics such as learning and development, performance management and premier employee experience.
- Collaborate with HR Team and department heads to develop employee centric programs aimed at positioning Vibram as an employer of choice.
- Design and implement HR policies related to career development, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, health and safety, employee engagement and culture.
- Maintain compliance with local, state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Track KPIs to direct improvements; share your ideas; think out-of-the-box!
- Work closely with Head of HR and entire team to foster a Human Resources culture of excellence.
- Become a brand ambassador in all activities.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required; HR Certification added plus
- Minimum 5 years HR Generalist experience, including employee engagement, benefits, compliance, learning and development
- Minimum 3 years full-life-cycle recruiting experience required
- Thorough knowledge of all local, state and federal employment-related laws and regulations
- Proven track record of building and implementing effective sourcing strategies to attract new talent
- Proficient in using HRIS (Paylocity) and Applicant Tracking Systems; full operating knowledge of LinkedIn is a must
- Problem-solver and solutions-driven
- Commitment to quality, collaboration with colleagues, all while operating with a high sense of integrity and confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; people view you as a trusted advisor, a creative problem solver, and a brand ambassador
- Prior experience working within a global manufacturing organization with HQ outside of US added plus
LOCATION: North Brookfield, MA
SALARY RANGE: $75,000 – $85,000
