We are currently seeking a Field Inspector to join our team.
Role Description
This full-time, on-site position is based in the Tri-State Area, with our office in the Bronx, NY. The Field Inspector will perform daily on-site inspections, identify and document construction issues, and report findings to the office. You will ensure compliance with regulations, specifications, and safety standards while maintaining regular communication with internal and external project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily on-site inspections to identify construction issues.
- Document and report findings to the office.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, specifications, and safety standards.
- Use inspection tools and technology for assessments and documentation.
Communication Expectations
- Collaborate with teams and promote effective communication.
- Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Alert teams to delays or issues requiring attention.
Qualifications
- Required certifications: ACI Level 1, OSHA 30.
- Additional certifications preferred: ICC Masonry and/or ICC Reinforcement Concrete.
- Certification in construction inspection is a plus.
- Preferably, at least 2 years of construction industry experience.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
- Proficient in using computers and construction software.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of construction regulations and inspection tools.
- Personal vehicles are preferred.
Work Schedule
- On-site presence required 5 days a week.
- Office hours: Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
