Key Responsibilities

Pharmacy Deliveries
- Safely transport medications and medical supplies to patients' homes or designated locations
- Ensure proper handling and temperature control of pharmaceuticals during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and prescription records
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Courier for Deposits
- Securely transport financial deposits to designated banking institutions
- Follow strict security protocols for handling monetary transactions
- Maintain accurate records of all deposit-related activities

Newborn Screenings
- Collect and transport laboratory specimens to appropriate shipping facilities
- Ensure proper handling and packaging of sensitive medical specimens
- Adhere to time-sensitive delivery schedules
- Mail Handling
- Collect, sort, and distribute incoming mail to appropriate departments
- Prepare and send outgoing mail, including packages and documents
- Maintain records of all mail-related activities
Accepts and uses supervision, direction and consultation to maximize available resources in the completion of work duties.
Additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed to maintain and improve effective functioning of the department and to advance the mission of the organization.
All job responsibilities will be carried out under the direction of the organization’s policies and procedures.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Individual must have:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed
- Knowledge of local traffic patterns and ability to navigate efficiently
- Experience with car maintenance and troubleshooting basic diagnostics

Work Environment
- Must have manual dexterity and experience to perform handwritten paper work, recordkeeping, and filing.
- Prolonged sitting, standing, or walking may be required.
- Frequent bending/stooping, squatting, reaching above the shoulders, twisting and turning, kneeling, and pushing/pulling may be required.
- Employment is contingent upon successful clearance from Criminal, Kansas and Missouri Child/Elder Abuse and Neglect, Sex Offender background investigations, TB testing, pre-employment drug testing, and verification of Hepatitis-B immunization.
- Occasional evening and weekend availability is required.
