What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pantry Chef position at Vibrant Occasions Catering/Dinner's Ready Express...?

GUIDELINES
**Responsibilities:
-Make cold appetizers, including salads, cold sandwiches, roll-ups, vegetables, and fruits.
-Prepare charcuterie boards
-Work closely with the Pastry Chef to make cookies, brownies, cakes, pies, pastries, breads and other specialty baked goods.
-Assist at Catered events with plating, action stations, finishes food preparations and garnishes
-Chef on site at Catered events
-Prepare vinaigrettes, cold sauces, dips, and herb-infused oils
-Store ingredients to keep them fresh and reduce food waste
-Prepare garnishes
-Maintain a clean station at all times
-Sterilize kitchen equipment at the end of your shift
-Monitor stock and notify shortages, as needed
-Recommend modern recipes to renew our menu with creative dishes
-May be asked to fill in another station they do not normally work with training provided.
-Pantry cook is the first to go shopping
-Should complete all prep lists assigned in an orderly fashion with a sense of urgency.
-Any other duties assigned by Sous chef or executive chef
-Pantry cook answers to the executive chef, Sous Chefs, or Event Lead during catered events.
**Job requirements:-Excellent knife skills
-One year experience in a professional kitchen
-Valid driver’s license
-Reliable Transportation
