Job Function
Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Planner will be remote and will be responsible for managing the capacity planning of assigned plants. Capacity planning, raw material requirement planning, data collection and analysis, reporting on KPI’s, etc. are functions of responsibility of the position. A key responsibility of this position is to solve capacity planning constraints by working cooperatively with a wide variety of other functional units within the business.

Job Function
Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Planner will be remote and will be responsible for managing the capacity planning of assigned plants. A key responsibility of this position is to solve capacity planning constraints by working cooperatively with a wide variety of other functional units within the business.
Responsibilities
- Develop realistic, capacity feasible monthly production plans that cover the full S&OP horizon based on the demand forecast, customer orders, current inventory, and stock strategies.
- Guide the production schedulers such that the production schedule follows and aligns exactly with the production plan
- Develop and maintain raw material requirement plans that support production plans and customer demand.
- Participate in and provide supporting information for the monthly pre-S&OP process as required.
- Manage inventory against targets and analyze changes to inventory month to month. Support the monthly slow moving and aged inventory reduction processes.
- Manage production planning related master data in the supply chain systems, including stock strategies, safety stock targets, and capacity parameters working in conjunction with Demand Managers, Production Managers and Schedulers.
- In conjunction with Demand Management, resolve and implement any demand priority decisions when supply cannot meet all demands.
- Manage, identify and solve any/all supply issues.
- Follow globally developed standard supply chain work processes and best practices.
- Participate in Supply Chain improvement projects.
- Perform any/all other Production Planning/Supply Chain duties as necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- 3 or more years Supply Chain experience
- Thorough knowledge and comfort working with IFS or similar ERP systems
- Attention to detail
- Excellent problem solver
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure efficient communication exchange with all departments at all levels and suppliers
- Ability to work well in cross functional team
- Minimal travel required
