Job Function
The Foundry Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for North American Foundry sales functions. Primarily working with distributors and small to medium sized accounts to grow market share. This role reports directly to the NAM Foundry sales manager.
The Foundry Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for customer sales, forecasting and technical service activities at Vibrantz accounts assigned by the direction of the sales manager. Coordinate all customer interaction at assigned accounts with manufacturing, customer service and laboratory support group and guide technical and sales activities for the specified sales accounts.
This is a remote position; candidates must have access to or live near a major airport.
Responsibilities
- Direct assigned sales accounts daily/weekly activities.
- Implement short-term and long-term account planning.
- Coordinate technical service and productivity improvement assistance at customer accounts to meet product performance expectations.
- Coordinate customer requests to the best use of internal Vibrantz resources.
- Coordinate new product requests of customers with technical and sales management Implement marketing, profitability, cost saving and growth strategy for the sales accounts
- Represent Vibrantz’s interest at customer accounts and direct point of communication.
- Reports: Timely submission of sales update, customer usage report, sales forecast, expense reports, Service lab requests, Customer Complaints, etc.
- Timely reporting and control of expenses and other reports as required
Required Experience
- Bachelor of Science in chemistry, materials science or engineering or 9 years of equivalent work experience.
- 5 years related professional experience
- Previous experience working in a foundry environment
- Experience in technical sales and service, customer negotiation, product forecasting, sales plan implementation, analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external customers
- Travel could be required up to 50% of their time
