Responsibilities
- Comply with safety rules and regulations, attends safety meetings and training, inspects work area for hazards/deficiencies and initiates actions to correct them. Reports injury/illness and/or environmental incidents.
- Strong electrical background (knowledge of single and three phase electrical wiring, controls and motors)
- Experience with mechanical pumps, drives and blowers
- Perform all preventative maintenance procedures on production and building equipment
- Piping
- Welding
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Excellent communication skills. Must speak, read, and write English.
- Must be detail oriented and organized to meet schedules.
- Assist the Maintenance and Shift Supervisors in meeting the daily goals as established by Plant Manager.
- Assist Supervisor in performance of safety inspections.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with all functions and levels within the site and company. Good team skills.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma
- Must be able to read and understand drawings and blueprints
- Must be able to use standard electrical test equipment (V.O.A. meters and amp probes), use and read micrometers, gages and measuring devices.
