Job Function
Reporting into the Plant Manager in Lockland, the Quality Manager will be based out of Lockland, Ohio and will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet customer and regulatory requirements. This role involves leading a team of quality professionals, overseeing quality assurance processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain quality control processes and procedures to ensure products meet customer expectations and comply with industry standards.
- Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure adherence to quality standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Perform regular inspections of products and processes and conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality management systems.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection results, audit findings, and corrective actions taken.
- Supervise quality assurance staff, providing training and guidance to ensure effective implementation of quality control measures.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
- Investigate customer complaints related to product quality, determine root causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Stay informed about relevant industry regulations and standards, ensuring that the company's quality management system remains compliant.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in quality assurance or control within a manufacturing environment.
- 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends to inform quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey quality standards and procedures.
- Proven capability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and influence at all levels of the organization
