As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in product design, testing, and manufacturing, working with a team that develops cutting-edge spring, elastomeric, and wire rope isolators, as well as seismic and shock-resistant solutions. This is a unique opportunity to apply your engineering skills to real-world challenges in structural dynamics and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities not limited to:
- Assist engineers with project-related tasks to support workflow and meet deadlines.
- Review engineering sketches, drawings, specifications, and related data to ensure consistent application of standards across project documents.
- Mark up technical drawings according to engineering standards, incorporating design specifications for piping and ductwork layouts, brace locations, and other details using manual drafting tools, layout templates, and AutoCAD.
- Organize technical details, rough sketches, and notes into standardized engineering templates and worksheets to maintain accurate recordkeeping.
- Verify engineering data, including calculations and the consistency of technical drawings.
- Collaborate with Project Engineers to facilitate necessary corrections and revisions.

- Ability to read and interpret building and construction drawings, identifying Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and components.
- Understanding of basic engineering concepts and general engineering calculations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with manual drafting tools and layout templates for MEP systems, piping, and ductwork.
- Skilled in AutoCAD.
