Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Assist with meals and feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
- Turn and reposition bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
- Assist with range of motion exercises and ambulation
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Document care provided and report any concerns to the nursing staff
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for residents
